The mention of Caribbean islands usually bring up thoughts of white sand beaches, warm weather, fruity drinks and relaxation and fun. So when you hear once and again that Saint Lucia may be the prettiest of all Caribbean islands, you’ve got to pay attention. What is so special about Saint Lucia?

If you opened your eyes and found yourself at Saint Lucia, you could guess that you have been transported to the South Pacific. Saint Lucia is very green and lush, with flowers, ferns and trees adorning every inch of terrain. The landscape varies from idyllic beaches to mountains, including the famous Pitons peaks emerging from the blue waters. French and British have fought for decades to take control of the island, which is now dotted with little pieces of history and influences of both cultures.
